Early British Pattern 1907 Chapman Bayonet, 21.75" OAL, blade is 17". Very nice condition showing some light handling wear, scratches. JAC stamped ricasso which was an early marking of Chapman Maker. Date is Dec 1915 with the Crown GR markings and obverse side showing arsenal markings. Sharp markings. Two toned blade, the right grip shows some soft half moon dings, excellent working press-stud. Very nice condition leather and steel ends scabbard. The throat top area is stamped, "385" and also stamped, 919 with a line through it. The chape and locket are tight with no looseness. A nice early one!
