Early German Butcher Sword Bayonet by Simson & Co., Suhl. with long ears, no scabbard.
The blade measures 14-3/8 inches (365mm), and overall it is 19-9/16 inches long. It has a functioning press release stud, wood grips, chrome blade in mostly very good condition, with some rust on both sides near the cross guard.

on the ricasso: Simson & Co, Suhl – the Simson mark is partially worn off
on the spine: crown over W15, Royal Cypher
on the left of the pommel, three German marks w/Royal Cypher twice
on the front of the crossguard; Royal Cypher
