This Parker pen model had a very short production period. It marked the transition from the Parker Vacumatic pens. This was a good quality pen overall but the barrel material did prove to be substandard in that it did show some color fading in some examples. This pen is one, in that it has a faded spot on its black barrel. Many VS pens that I have seen have such fading. This pen has been restoredand writes very well. The original 14K gold nib has a fine point. The GF cap has a few small shallow indentations.
