Designed by YouTube knife reviewer Donnie B All Day, this mammoth D-Guard Bowie is as capable as it’s ancestors before it. A blade that can be wielded from horseback as easily as it could be on foot.
What’s so special about the blade?
Using quarter inch 52100 steel, this true full tang knife features a blade stretching 14” with a 6” rosewood handle for a massive 20” reach. The oversized fuller reduces weight through the center of the blade helping to carry the weight to the front of the swing, making it the most capable chopper you can put in your hands.
Why use wood scales?
The D-Guard Bowie was popularized during the American Civil War. Like the originals before it, this knife uses wood scales for an organic grip and flawless contouring. Using wood also helps for making a perfect fit for the guard to seat closely to the scales.Default Specification
