Published in connection with the Sault Ste. Marie Civic and Commercial Association, this fascinating historical booklet promotes the city’s industrial development and hydroelectric power resources during the early 1900s.
Includes numerous period photographs, illustrations and historical information featuring Soo Locks, hydroelectric power facilities, Northern Power Company, government buildings, industrial sites and views of Sault Ste. Marie. The booklet also contains period statistics relating to population, businesses, infrastructure and available electrical power.
