Ace Fighter Pilot, Medal of Honor Winner
This is a nice reproduction of an original WW2 photograph showing Major Richard Bong in the cockpit of his P-38 Lightning fighter. Major Bong had40 victories, all in the P-38, and won the Medalof Honor. Tragically, Maj. Bong died in a plane crash the same day the atomic bombwasdropped on Hiroshima.
