Up for offer is a WW1 uniform group. Included is a tunic and a period sun helmet.
The tunic remains in fair condition overall. Without buttons. Cotton style twill summer base, with minor signs of wear throughout. No major rips or holes. Remains of a 28th Infantry Division Company A insignia remain on the shoulder, though it is heavily faded, moth eaten, and fraying. Interior lining remains in nice condition. No names that I can find. Tunic has a pit to pit measurement of roughly 17 inches.
The sun helmet remains in fair condition overall. Slightly flattened on the top, and the visor area is slightly warped. Moth damage to the interior felt lining. Complete with the original label on the interior top. This is a civilian style helmet, though types similar to these were often utilized by soldiers through the era. Sweatband size is roughly a 54 or 6-3/4.
Overall, this as a set is a impressive set of WW1 era parts great for a display or collection!
