From Sept. 1986 to October 1987 DC published the twelve issues of Alan Moore's magnum opus, WATCHMEN. This item includes the following: all twelve issues of WATCHMEN; an additional copy of number 11; and the first edition trade paperback of the collection of all twelve issues.
Note that the first three issues have been clamshelled and graded by CGC. Issue 1 is graded 8.0; Issue 2 is graded 9.6; and issue 3 is graded 9.2. (I usually never take issue with CGC's grading; however, I was surprised by their grade of 8.0 for the first issue; to my mind, it was in the same mint condition as the others.)
(Just a note -- I will NOT be doing any of my regular price reductions to this item. I will leave it up on as long as it takes. Don't mean to sound ornery -- it's just that I've reached the lower limit on this item.)
The remaining nine issues are packaged with bags and boards; they are in almost Mint condition as well.
I have included a second copy of issue # 11 with this package.
Also included is the first edition of the trade paperback issued once all twelve comics were out.
