Vtg Schaefer Beer Metal Serving Tray Lots of Character Rust, Scratches, Scuffs For Sale

The product is a vintage Schaefer Beer metal serving tray made during the 1960\'s by Consolidated Container Company for F & M Schaefer Brewing Co of New York. The tray measures 12\" in diameter and is 1 1/4\" High & Deep. The metal on the top edge of the tray is rolled under so there is no sharp edge. The white tray features the traditional Schaefer Beer Logo Design. \"Schaefer\" in white script lettering is within a rounded red rectangle in the center of the tray. Behind the rectangle are golden sheaves of barley. This design is within a gold circle. Along the inner side edge of the tray in gold script is \"Established 1842\" and \"America\'s Oldest Lager Beer\". This text is printed twice circling the edge and in between the words are small circles with the same logo design that is in the center of the tray. Under the bottom \"Established 1842\" are 3 concentric \"C\'s\" printed in red which is the logo for Consolidated Container Co, who manufactured the tray. Repeated 4 times around the outer side of the rim are 4 small triplets of circles with \"America\'s Oldest Lager Beer\" in gold, the logo, and \"Established 1842\". The bottom of the tray has the same logo design that is on the front. Small red lettering along the bottom is reads, \"F. & M. Schaefer Brewing Co. - New York and Albany, N.Y. and Baltimore, MD.\" \"#1\" is printed after this text. This tray was much loved and has lots of vintage character. There is paint wear and rust spots mostly along the top & bottom edges. A rust spot is on the \"h\" in Schaefer inside the top of the tray along with some scratches. The bottom has some shallow scratches across the logo and a small black scuff mark along the edge. The tray is structurally in great condition with no dents, creases or warping. This tray is perfect for beer enthusiasts or collectors looking for a unique and authentic piece of American brewing history that don\'t mind the authentic vintage condition and look. It is a nice addition to a home bar or man cave to either use or hang for display.
