Vtg Explorer Tomcat G. Sakai Seki Japan 4" Folding Hunter Lockback Pocket Knife For Sale

In storage at G. Sakai for more than four decades, this is a rare chance to own unused old stock from a bygone era. This is an original Tomcat pocket knife, made in Seki, Japan, between circa 1978-1982 by G. Sakai and is identical to the version produced for Olsen. G. Sakai produced Gerber knives back in those days and that is how they became "Gerber Sakai", shortened to G. Sakai because the company now produces knives for other companies - namely Spyderco. This folding lockback knife features G. Sakai precision and has a sharp stainless steel blade, ebony wood handle, and brass bolsters. It is marked "Tomcat" on the blade and "440 Stainless Japan" on the tang. This is a great medium-sized pocket knife at 4" long closed. Stock photos, all are in similar condition (sale is for one knife, others shown as examples). Collectible, yet makes a great daily user.
