This vintage Cathrineholm enamelware bowl in black and white striped glossy finish is a Mid-Century Modern collectible from Norway. The 8" round bowl is hand wash only for maintenance (do not microwave). Excellent vintage condition - interior enamel is bright, glossy, and clean with minimal signs of use. The exterior pattern is high gloss with crisp contrast between the black and white lines. The rim/edge is structurally sound with no dents, but there are a couple of "flea bite" chips in the glazing as is typical for the age and function. There are some light scratches inside the bowl, but are too faint to show in the photographs.Magnet tested - enamel metal - not plastic or melamine. Please see photos for detail.
