Up for sale is an absolutely magnificent, large-scale vintage Italian Capodimonte porcelain statuette of an elegant 18th-Century courtly lady. Beautifully hand-painted and sculpted in Italy during the mid-20th Century, this showcase piece perfectly exemplifies traditional Rococo style.
The figurine depicts a noblewoman seated elegantly on a high-back vanity chair, holding an intricate folded fan to her bodice. She features a classic towering Venetian hairstyle and an expansive, heavily ruffled Crinoline ballgown. The glaze palette is wonderfully vibrant, displaying rich turquoise/teal, candy pink, soft citrus-yellow, and deep purple tones with an exquisite high-gloss finish.
