This is a vintage handmade needlepoint throw pillow depicting a stylized woman dressed in elegant historical attire.Design: The central artwork features a full-length portrait of a woman in a Victorian or Edwardian-inspired style. She is wearing a wide-brimmed hat decorated with plumes or flowers, a fitted green bodice with corset-style lacing, and a long, sweeping mauve/pink maxi skirt.Craftsmanship: This piece is created using needlepoint (or cross-stitch), a form of counted-thread embroidery where yarn is stitched through a stiff canvas grid. The entire background is filled in with a neutral beige basketweave stitch, while the central figure utilizes smaller, detailed stitching to define her dress and features. Dimensions: Measures approximately 14 to 15 inches on each side.The back of the case has a zipper, so the case is fully removable.
