Vintage U.S. Army Infantry uniform grouping consisting of khaki short-sleeve service shirt and brown service trousers. Sold together as found.Shirt retains a very nice assortment of period military insignia, including U.S. and Infantry collar discs, Combat Infantryman Badge (CIB), ribbon bar, Staff Sergeant rank chevrons, and shoulder sleeve insignia. The combination gives the shirt a great original period appearance and makes this a much more interesting display piece than a stripped uniform.Condition: Original vintage condition with age and wear consistent with an older military uniform. The khaki shirt has visible areas of dirt/soiling and age-related discoloration. I have intentionally not attempted to aggressively clean or restore it. The trousers remain very presentable overall but have several small moth holes, which are photographed closely. Please review all photos carefully, as they are part of the condition description.I have not removed, replaced, cleaned, or restored the insignia. I cannot personally guarantee when each individual insignia item was originally applied to the uniform, so the set is being sold exactly as pictured rather than with any claim of documented provenance.Great candidate for a U.S. military collection, WWII/early postwar display, reenactor reference collection, militaria room, or vintage uniform collection.Included:
