U.S. Department of the Interior Bison Seal Flag / Fabric Panel – Large 26” Seal
Large printed U.S. Department of the Interior bison seal on lightweight flag-style fabric. Features the classic Department of the Interior design with American bison, mountains, rising sun, rope border, and the wording “U.S. Department of the Interior – March 3, 1849.”
This is one single piece, not a pair.
The printed seal measures approximately 26 inches across, with additional fabric extending beyond the printed design. Overall piece is roughly 30–31 inches across at its widest point.
The outer perimeter is unfinished/raw cut fabric rather than a sewn or hemmed flag edge. Because of the size and construction, it appears likely to have been intended as a flag-making panel, seal appliqué, or unfinished government-flag component, although the exact original use and manufacturer are unknown.
Condition: Pre-owned/old stock condition with wrinkles, fold lines, light discoloration and minor marks from storage and handling. Colors remain attractive and the large bison graphic displays very well. Edges are uneven and unfinished as shown. Please review all photos closely for exact condition and measurements.
