Vintage Sierra Made in USA Imported Briar Estate Tobacco Pipe
Vintage American-made Sierra briar tobacco pipe in a handsome bent shape with a rich reddish-brown finish and attractive natural briar grain.
The shank is stamped “SIERRA / MADE IN U.S.A.” and the opposite side is marked “IMPORTED BRIAR.” The black stem has the original inset/stamped Sierra logo. A narrow brass-tone band accents the junction between the shank and stem.
Approximately 5 inches long based on the ruler shown in the photographs.
Previously smoked vintage estate pipe being sold in its present as-found condition. There is carbon/cake and tobacco residue inside the bowl, rim darkening, finish wear and scratches consistent with age and use. The stem shows oxidation/discoloration, surface wear and tooth marks near the mouthpiece. The underside of the bowl also shows finish wear.
I have not professionally cleaned, polished or restored the pipe. Please examine all photographs closely as they are an important part of the description.
