Paramount was one of the most prominent flag makers on the West Coast and ceased flag production in 1988, so this piece predates that.
Unlike the country flags this maker is best known for, this banner features a bold, graphic equestrian design: a fox-hunt rider in a classic red coat, black hat, and tall boots astride a black horse, with a numbered rider armband (\"2\"). This subject matter is genuinely hard to find in Paramount\'s catalog — most surviving examples are national flags, not equestrian scenes — which makes this a standout piece for collectors of vintage flags/textiles, equestrian decor, or mid-century graphic art.
