Vintage Mabie Todd Swan SF1 Fountain Pen, w/ 14k gold FLEXIBLE nib, restored For Sale

For sale is a vintage Mabie Todd & Co. \"Swan\" Self-Filling Fountain Pen in black chased hard rubber (BCHR) made in England. The 14k branded gold nib on the pen has a very flexible fine point. The writing quality is suitable for daily use or some styles of calligraphy. Vintage nib points and writing styles are subjective - a photo of a writing sample is provided. The condition of the pen is good: no scratches, cracks, or and minimal trim wear on the lever. The material shows fading / oxidation, and the chasing is heavily worn. An earlier domed cap version. The pen is fully marked (cap, barrel, nib, and feed).
This fountain pen is a lever filler and has been completely restored and is fully functional as a writing instrument. Pens are filled and tested with Waterman\'s blue ink prior to shipping and are flushed with water, some ink residue may remain. All writing instruments ship bubble wrapped in a cardboard box for safe and secure delivery.
