Vintage Hudson\'s Bay Company 3.5 point wool blanket in cream with black end stripes, twin size, woven Seal of Quality label reading Made in England. Point marks confirmed on the selvage: three full bars plus one half-length bar. 100% wool, measures 64in x 78in - slightly altered from original mill size due to what I understand to be vintage wool shrinkage over the decades.Unique Feature:The blanket includes a custom, vintage fabric border stitched along the outer edges featuring an engraving/currency plate pattern. This unique household modification was added by a previous owner decades ago to protect the raw wool edges.Fair / Well-Loved Vintage Condition. This is an honest, utilitarian piece that shows its age and history beautifully. Includes 2-3 holes and areas of wear in the body of the wool. Visible thinning and fraying along the edges near the custom border. The original 3.5 woven point marks and header bars are crisp and highly visible. The custom border has a small area of seperation. Also note that I believe the border was added to cover flaws, based on feel as I wasn\'t able to visually inspect. I did my best to capture all flaws by inspecting under a light.
