Vintage E.A. Berg Eskilstuna Wooden Box – 6 Interchangeable Pattern Maker Chisels w/ Handle
Vintage E.A. Berg, Eskilstuna, Sweden cardboard tool box containing a set of 6 interchangeable pattern maker chisel/gouge blades with a removable wooden handle.
Rather than each chisel having its own handle, this set was designed so the individual chisel blades can be removed and fitted into the same handle, providing several cutting profiles while using a single handle.
The chisel blades are unmarked, so they are not being represented as Berg-made. The fitted wooden box is marked E.A. Berg, Eskilstuna, Sweden.
Set shows age and previous use, including patina, staining, scratches and wear. Cutting edges may need sharpening or honing. Wooden box has expected age and storage wear.
Includes the Berg wooden box, 6 interchangeable chisel/gouge blades and one removable wooden handle.
An unusual vintage pattern maker’s woodworking tool set and a nice addition to a collection of early cabinetmaking, carving or pattern-making tools.
