This vintage WWI bayonet is an original, not sure who made this piece of militaria from World War I. With a historical significance tied to the conflict, this item serves as a tangible reminder of the sacrifices made during that time. Has a metal scabbard and measures 15\" long with a blade of 10\". The only markings are the numbers 6953. Not sure if this had wood grips. Blade needs a good polishing to remove staining and handle and scabbard do show some pitting. This could also be pre WW1 German army before they had wood grips.
