Vintage Chamart Limoges Porcelain Green and White Checkered Trinket Box
This is a vintage Chamart Limoges trinket box that features a green and white checkerboard or “Harlequin” pattern.
It has a gold toned metal hinge with a detailed wreath of flowers at the opening.
The outside bottom is stamped and reads Chamart France with the fleur-de-lis symbol as well.
The inside top and bottom are free of any paintings or words.
The bottom outside rim has a slight rough feel
Good vintage condition. This piece was gently used.
Approximately 5” W x 2” H x 3” D
Made in Limoges France. The high-quality porcelain produced in Limoges is considered to be among the finest in the world.
A certificate and manufacturers box are not included.
