Vintage Allied Radio Corporation television picture-tube brightener designed for CRT television sets with parallel-wired filaments.
This brightener installs between the television chassis connection and the CRT picture tube. It was designed to increase the heater voltage and improve the picture produced by an aging or weakened CRT.
The adapter is complete. All colored wires, connections, pins, plug, and socket are present and are original parts of the assembly. There are no loose or disconnected wires.
The orange Allied Radio label shows cosmetic wear from age, including fading, scratches, discoloration, and edge wear. The plug, socket, wiring, and pins also show normal age-related wear. Please inspect the photographs carefully for compatibility and exact condition.
