Up for sale is a beautiful vintage hand-carved wooden figurine by the legendary Italian workshop ANRI. This classic mid-century piece of Tyrolean/Gröden folk art portrays an elderly peasant woman wearing a traditional babushka headscarf and a brilliant orange apron, carrying a nesting chicken inside a chiseled wooden basket.
The sculpture showcases beautiful, historic craftsmanship—from the deep, expressive character lines carved into her face to the clean vertical tooling on the reverse of her coat.

* Size: Desirable 5.75-inch scale model (measures exactly 5-3/4 inches long when laid flat from the base of her feet to the tip of her hood).
* Finish: Fine alpine wood meticulously hand-painted with a translucent matte polychrome finish.
