Vintage lot of approximately 45–50 original birthday greeting cards dating from the early 1940s (circa 1940–1945, World War II era). Features colorful children’s illustrations, animals, military and patriotic themes, grandchildren, nephews, sons, teens, and other birthday designs. Includes several die-cut and embossed cards.
These cards were originally mounted in a vintage scrapbook and have been carefully removed. As a result, all cards have handwritten inscriptions and show scrapbook paper residue, adhesive remnants, paper loss, and damage on the backs. The fronts generally display much better than the backs, with typical vintage wear including edge wear, light creases, and age-related toning.
