VTG Amazing WW2 Pilots Lot W/Research Slides Lead Developer Longbow Navigation For Sale

Hopefully i can include a video under this but this is a very interesting lot of a great man with a long and busy life, he was a pilot in the mid 40s and went on to study science, aviation, navigation, he also as an author and inventor who held several patents. From what little research i have done one of his big achievements was leading the development of the "Longbow Navigation Systems" for the Apache Helicopters, included in this lot will be many glass slides from his estate i assume were part of his research on some projects but cant say for sure witch one/ones they were used for, the sale company i bought this from "said" the Government did a sweep of the estate before they could sell anything so i assume he was very involved in the Military on a bigger level than the average person but i thought that was a neat part of his story, i wish i could do it justice but it needs a loving home to be honored and displayed well, i am sure there is so much more to learn about him i just don't have the time to correctly connect all the dots, the photos tell a lot of his story while flying, meeting his wife, getting Married, and more, the articles shown are just copies from google searches. Selling everything shown as is condition so please offer on what you see and know i am no expert on anything except saying yes to my wife!
