The design is based on the scarce 1930 Chicago Evening American baseball premium series featuring Cubs and White Sox players.

Moe Berg is one of baseball’s most fascinating figures — a Princeton-educated, multilingual Major League catcher who later became an OSS intelligence operative during World War II and was awarded the Medal of Freedom.
