VINT TESSITURA ARTISTICA HAND WOVE TABLECLOTH & NAPKINS PEACOCKS RABBITS BIRDS For Sale

I just listed some gorgeous vintage hand-woven Italian Linen towels. This tablecloth and napkin set is from the same estat3e. the family traveled to Italy in the 1970\'s, and brought back these fabulous textiles, but they simply stored them and vever used them. This listing is for a tablecloth measuring 88\" X 62\". There are 4 matching napkins each approximately 15\" X 15\". These are woven of a blend consisting of 47% linen, 37% cotton, and 16% hemp. As with the towels I just listed the tablecloth still has its label attached. The pictorial label reads Tessitura Artistica Franz Bruneck Brunico Kunsthandwebberei. The woven design consists of various bands with birds, peacocks, and birds of prey that appear to be poised to grab rabbits. I suppose the design is timeless but to me it seems medieval or something reminiscent of William Morris. This is an exceptional set! I hope it finds a home where it will be appreciated, and perhaps finally put into use.
