If you experience a transmission solenoid valve failure, one of the following four ways becomes very obvious, at which point you need to determine whether the transmission solenoid valve is at fault:

• Symptom 1: Delayed Shifting
• Symptom 2: You can't downshift, your engine keeps running even when you hit the brakes
• Symptom 3: Your transmission is stuck in neutral
• Symptom 4: The gear shift becomes rough, the frustration is severe, and the gear you want to enter cannot even be engaged.
