This model is one of nine in the collection which includes Capt. Edward Smith, a Titanic Life Boat, Titanic builder Thomas Andrews, Col. John Jacob Astor, Mrs. James Joseph Brown ("Unsinkable Molly Brown"), a Musical Water Globe with a band member playing "the Blue Danube Waltz", a model of the Titanic itself, a 1st Cl. Suite model and a 3rd Cl. Room Setting model.
Thomas Andrews was a director at Harland & Wolff and headofthe design department which had a hand atdesigning several ships leaving the yard, including the Titanic.
