A matched set of Nazi-era propaganda volumes containing speeches by Adolf Hitler, issued by the official publishing house of the National Socialist German Workers’ Party. Volumes I–II (copyright 1940 and 1941, combined in this printing) and Volume III (covering speeches from March 16, 1941 to March 15, 1942). This edition, published in 1943, is noted as the 3. Auflage (third printing), comprising the 131st–233rd thousand copies, reflecting the wide distribution of these works during the Second World War.
Illustrated with halftone photographic plates, including a frontispiece portrait of Hitler in uniform and images of public appearances. The books were intended as both propaganda and reference, preserving Hitler’s public addresses for German readers during the height of the war.
Good to very good overall. Bindings tight. Boards show moderate rubbing and edge wear, with some fraying to corners and spine ends. Paper toned with age, as typical of wartime stock. Hinges sound though partial cracking noted on volume 1 only. Text clean and unmarked.
