This solid wood altar pentacle paten measures 8 inches in diameter , and 2 inch thick.
A piece I designed which incorporates the Chaos Magick CHAOSPHERE with a DHARMACHAKRA (Buddhist Dharma Wheel) into a form which is itself inspired by a 13th century Japanese Rinpō. It was developed for a particular practice, with the skull in the centre being the synthesis of the work. I liked the finished piece and though it might be useful to other practitioners, so am now offering it for custom order.
It's carved in solid walnut hardwood, finely sanded, ebonised with a three part process using natural ebony wood dyes and then carefully waxed and polished for a smooth, jet black finish. This pentacle is 17.5cm from tip to tip of the Chaosphere rays and just under 2cm thick. A considerably detailed and time consuming carve and finish - this is a very tactile magical tool.
