Stunning Art Nouveau/Jugendstil Mixed Metal Figural Letter Rack w/Maiden For Sale

Up for sale is a stunning Art Nouveau/Jugendstil era mixed metal figural letter or correspondence rack. This fine piece was purchased from a prominent Washington D.C. estate and has been in my personal collection for about 30 years. I am posturing for retirement and want to simplify my decor, so I am offering these wonderful items to the community and will be for years to come. This is a true stunner. It is a mixed metal figural letter rack with an angelic maiden in a gazing pose. She has a divine dress that flows to the floor. She is made of cast spelter and has a nicely aged gilt finish. She is resting against one of three organic formed brass and textured enamel painted panels. The opposing panels boast tasteful floral representations, (see pics). The maiden stands 8 3/4" tall. The rack without the dress measures 4 1/2" x 6 3/4", and the dress measures 7 1/2" in length. It is quite heavy, weighing just over 5 1/2 pounds! It is unsigned but has fabrication numbers 660 8/9. This piece is in overall good condition with mild gilt wear and looks to have one replaced assembly screw.
