Charming coordinated collection of five unbranded storybook mouse dolls, each dressed in wonderfully detailed English-country clothing and accompanied by miniature accessories.
Together, these mice create an irresistible woodland/storybook scene with a strong cottagecore feel. Each has a soft cream-colored head, felt ears, paws and long tail, with individually tailored clothing and character-specific accessories.
The group includes:
* Gentleman mouse in gray formal suit with pink waistcoat and floral boutonniere
* Lady mouse in elaborate pink-and-white floral dress with embroidered apron and flowered bonnet
* Young mouse in blue overalls and red-and-cream striped shirt holding a miniature slingshot
* Lady mouse in pale yellow floral dress and white apron holding a tiny teddy bear
* Country mouse in blue checked dress and white apron with straw hat and basket of miniature produce
The styling bears a striking resemblance to characters from Jill Barklem’s Brambly Hedge, particularly the general appearance of Dusty Dogwood, Poppy Eyebright, Wilfred Toadflax, Primrose Woodmouse and Mrs. Apple.
Important: All five mice are unbranded. No maker tags, labels or identifying marks have been found. They are not being represented as authentic Brambly Hedge, Golden Bear or Golden Gifts merchandise. Brambly Hedge references are included only to describe the close similarity in character styling and costumes.
These would make a wonderful display for a collector of storybook mice, woodland animals, cottagecore décor, English country collectibles, soft sculpture dolls or miniature character figures.
Condition: Pre-owned and displaying very nicely overall. Please review all individual and group photographs carefully for exact condition and minor signs of age or previous display.
