The Richard Garriott Soyuz TMA-13 patch from 2008 is a collectible NASA patch designed by space tourist Richard Garriott. The central art features Leonardo da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man set against a backdrop of Earth and the ISS. This design is a direct, deeply personal homage to his parents. His father, NASA astronaut Owen Garriott, flew a similar Vitruvian Man design on the Skylab 3 mission. Meanwhile, an unofficial alternate Skylab patch flown by his father changed the figure to a woman to honor the crew's wives, including Richard’s mother, Helen.
