This is a replica No. 6 dry cell battery, refillable with user supplied two standard D-cell batteries, which are wired in parallel to provide a nominal 1.5 volts DC. This can also be wired in a 3 volt configuration. Send me a message when you place your order. This replica is 3D printed and measures 6.25" X 2.5" in diameter. Dry cells from the early 1900's through the 1950's varied in height, anywhere from 6" to 6.5" in height. This replica has authentic #8 brass knurled nuts. This dry cell replica comes without a label as a cost saving measure for the budget minded!! This battery has a base that unscrews allowing your wiring to remain connected while you change batteries, if you desire. Also, this design and a beveled edge so that if you apply your own label, detaching the base won't damage the label. I have other #6 dry cell replicas with a variety of "vintage" labels, with new labels being added often.I also make a variety of other vintage replicas, including "A" and "B" batteries.
