This is a replica No. 6 dry cell battery, with an authentic duplication of an original Eveready Columbia label. It's refillable with two user supplied standard D-cell batteries, which are wired in parallel to provide a nominal 1.5 volts DC. This replica is 3D printed and measures 6.25" X 2.5" in diameter. Dry cells from the early 1900's through the 1950's varied in height, anywhere from 6" to 6.5" in height. This replica has authentic #8 brass knurled nuts and a re-creation of an early Winchester brand battery. This design allows the user to unscrew the base to change the internal batteries while the terminals remain connected, if so desired. The base and top have a beveled edge which protects the label from being damaged when attaching or detaching the base.
