Condition is very good to excellent for its age... I tried cutting a shipping box sticker cover and only made it 5" down from tip pushing the blade with the weight of the knife as pressure. See the picture. The blade itself is in excellent condition by my standards.

This set was manufactured in Bridgeport, Connecticut, at the height of Remington’s cutlery production. DuPont acquired a controlling interest in Remington in 1933 and managed the cutlery division until 1940, when they sold the equipment to the Pal Blade Company to pivot entirely toward military production for World War II.
