Made in England .Class Winner John Evans - Hillman Imp ..The Rootes Group presented this cup to John Evans it may have been a factory produced model .The Rootes Motor Distribution group was important in the history of British Motoring . Having started as a small company and ending up buying up British Car Manufacturers like Hillman and distributing the cards . They ceased trading in the 1970sThere are records of some of the various Rallys. Many items are in the Rootes Museum and motoring archive in Coventry.Condition as seen - there are a few faults scratches as seen , a large dent on back and some pitting. Part of the base rim is out of kilter .
