Rare original Hollywood Pattern 1032, dating to approximately 1943, featuring an absolutely classic 1940s two-piece suit or dress ensemble.
Size 18 – Bust 36", Hip 39"
This striking WWII-era sewing pattern includes a beautifully fitted peplum jacket paired with your choice of a dramatic floor-length flared skirt or shorter daytime skirt. The jacket features a fitted waist, long fitted sleeves, wide notched lapels, and a three-button front closure. Optional decorative braid frog closures create the particularly dramatic version shown in red on the envelope.
The skirt is a four-piece flared design and can be made in either:
View 1: Long, sweeping floor-length skirt
View 2: Shorter below-the-knee skirt
The finished look is quintessential 1940s wartime glamour — strong shoulders, a sharply defined waist, peplum shaping, tailored lapels, and an elegant flared skirt.

Hollywood patterns from this era are highly collectible, and Pattern 1032 is an especially uncommon design to find today. It was featured in a Hollywood Patterns catalog in 1943 and is a beautiful example of authentic early-1940s fashion.
The original envelope shows substantial age and wear, including creasing, tears, discoloration, edge wear and previous tape repairs. Please review all photographs carefully for exact vintage condition.
