This is a very rare and super hard-to-find 1920s-era Cracker Jack Popcorn and Angelus Marshmallows window display store sign. It is made of cardboard with beautiful graphics and comes with the original 14 boxes (7 Cracker Jack and 7 Angelus). These boxes were sent to dealers empty for use in a window display.The cardboard sign measures 20" tall x 27" wide. Each box is 3" x 6" x 1-5/8". Overall, the display is in excellent condition. The sign has a small crease near the top, which isn't very noticeable from the front but is more apparent from the back. The boxes are all very nice, with a few wrinkles or bends in some spots, but I would say they are in great condition for being nearly 100 years old.This display is featured in Larry White's Cracker Jack price guide from 1999. In that guide, a backdrop sign with only three original display boxes was valued at $2,000 27 years ago. Given that I have 14 original display boxes, I believe they could each bring around $150 if you could ever find them. It may take a lifetime to track down these original display boxes.The previous owner of this extensive Cracker Jack collection regarded this piece as one of the highlights of his collection.
