The Gordon Highlanders Officers Post 1881 Shoulder Belt Plate. A burnished gilt backplate, with an 8 pointed hobnail star in silver, with a sphinx over an Egypt tablet, with a Tiger over an India tablet. In the center is a circle with “Gordan Highlanders” over a thistle spray. In the center is a Stag head and coronet. On the reverse, marked with a thistle logo and R & HB KIRKWOOD 66 & 68 THISTLE ST EDINBURGH, and a “2” below. Measures approximately 3” across and approximately 3 3/4” high. Convex and made of multi piece construction. No damage, Very good plus condition. Moderate to heavy wear and tarnish overall. The shipping amount is the exact amount calculated by .
