Post WWI Black Pyralin Radio Horn Speaker Wiring Intact, Very Unusual Base: $395.00
Post World War I radio horn speaker made of pyralin, a very early nitrocellulose materiel developed by DuPont to replace highly volatile celluloid. This horn appears to be complete and in working order but I have not removed the green felt base to find out for sure. The wiring is intact and it is evident that the speaker core is present and attached. There is no brand name discernible. The base of the horn seems to be unique or nearly so.
