An early comic book from Dell, featuring reprinted newspaper comic strips alongside new material. This issue features the debut of an unlikely superhero duo inspired by DC's Superman. Genius inventor Professor Warren, known as the Supermind, grants superhuman powers to his son Dan and sets him against the evils of the world. Dr. Hormone is aided in his battle against the Klan by the mysterious being known only as The Thinker. Professor Supermind and Son and Dr. Hormone were listed in Jon Morris's 2015 book The League of Regrettable Superheroes. The Hurricane Kids battle dinosaurs and cavemen with the aid of pirate Captain Blackbeard.
