Up for sale is a genuine, guaranteed original U.S. Army Model 1902 Artillery Enlisted Man's Dress Visor Cap. This iconic piece of early 20th-century American militaria represents the transition period following the Spanish-American War and was used leading up to World War I.This hat is in good, untouched vintage condition. The wool shows [Choose one: excellent preservation with no moth holes / a few minor moth nips as pictured], and the brass components have acquired a beautiful natural patina over the last 120+ years. The leather visor and chin strap show typical light crazing and surface wear expected of an item from this era, but remain stable and presentable.
