This is a set of original 1953 (made in 1953 and dated 1953) special commemorative porcelain style boxes in white and blue jasper color, made by a company named Wedgwood in the United Kingdom. Condition is basically like new condition; I acquired these from the original owner who purchased these in 1953 and there has only previously been the original owner and now me.
The Queen Elizabeth II box says "HM Queen Elizabeth II" and "June 1953". On the back it says: "Wedgwood Made in England" and "1953 Coronation" and "Wedgwood Pale Blue Jasper Made in England".
For the Prince Philip box it says on front: "HRH Duke of Edinburgh" and on the back: "Wedgwood Made in England" and "1953 Wedgwood" and "Pale Blue Jasper Made in England" and inside the top lid it says: "1953 Wedgwood Pale Blue Jasper Made in England".
