******Venomous Invertebrate Liability Waiver and Release*******
By purchasing, receiving, or accepting possession of any venomous invertebrate from the Seller, the Buyer acknowledges and agrees to the following:
The Buyer understands that venomous invertebrates, including but not limited to scorpions and centipedes, are inherently dangerous animals capable of inflicting medically significant envenomation. The Buyer voluntarily assumes all risks associated with the purchase, transportation, possession, handling, housing, breeding, feeding, and care of the animal.
Upon transfer of possession, the Buyer accepts full responsibility for the animal and any consequences arising from its ownership, including but not limited to injury, illness, envenomation, death, escape, property damage, or harm to third parties.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Buyer releases, waives, and forever discharges the Seller, its owners, employees, agents, and representatives from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to the purchase, transportation, ownership, handling, care, or possession of the animal after it leaves the Seller's possession.
The Buyer further agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Seller from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees, arising from the Buyer's ownership, possession, transfer, or handling of the animal.
The Buyer acknowledges that they are solely responsible for complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding the ownership, possession, transport, and care of the animal.
By accepting possession of the animal, the Buyer certifies that they have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to the terms of this Liability Waiver and Release.
