This is the official Hello Kitty computer full system that was only available in Japan at a select retailer. Information about this system is extremely limited. Picture is of the actual unit.
It was sold as a set back in the Windows ME era, and never included a mouse, as it intended to use the tablet as the main input. I don't know the actual internal specs like CPU, ram etc.
It comes with a boxed new art tablet, matching pink speakers, monitor, mechanical keyboard, removable stands to set the tower vertical or horizontal. The Windows ME serial code is on the side of the system. The cardboard box is unfortunately not included.
Please note these issues with its condition:-The LCD screen has suffered the "vinegar syndrome" with age. You will need to find a similar sized panel to replace it to use the matching monitor case.-The keyboard is missing the left CTRL keycap. Button works. It is a mechanical keyboard in good condition and a good type feel.-The pink plastic has some yellowing and could use a Retrobrite treatment. There's no smoke smell or other odors.-There may be other unknown issues.
This would make a great piece for a Sanrio themed play room or a great addition to get a retro PC lab to play some comfy edutainment software with a kid. If you ask me, with some love I think it's way cooler than the Win98 Barbie PC!
