Gold in Quartz Buffalo Hump Mining District, Idaho County, Idaho, USA matrix measures ~3 x 3 x 2 cm This is a nice sample of gold from a pretty rare US locality - with a great name. I see one spot of gold on this piece - a chunky aggregate measuring about 2 mm across. It is well-centered and protrudes 1-2 mm from the pale pink quartz matrix. Cool older specimen.Old, unattributed perky label is in the box - acquired this piece from an FGMS sale several years ago.ShippingDomestic shipping via USPS, international shipping is available at cost.
