But then we had another idea: In the same year, we collaboratedwith a German manufacturer to develop a heat-resistant insert made ofcompressed carbon—an innovation that opens up completely new possibilities.
This graphite cone istasteless and odorless and can be cleaned effortlessly. Building up a carbonlayer is no longer necessary. And best of all: The pipe never gets hot. Thisallows us to use entirely new types of wood. We combined this insert with SouthAmerican ash wood, whose wave-like grain structure immediately captivated us.
The new Devil’s Cut isavailable in two variants:
